Dr. Saloni Kapoor is a committed General Practitioner and an advocate for integrative and personalized medicine, currently serving as the Group Consultation and Well-being Lead at Greenfield Medical Centre in North West London. She also holds a leadership role as GP Lead at the Rapid Diagnostic Centre in North Middlesex Hospital, where she supports rapid diagnostic pathways to enhance patient outcomes.
Passionate about the role of lifestyle medicine in primary care, Dr. Kapoor earned her diploma in lifestyle medicine from the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine (BSLM) and the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine (iBLM) in 2020. Since 2022, she has facilitated monthly virtual group consultations (VGCs) at Greenfield Medical Centre, focusing on empowering patients to manage their health proactively through peer support and structured guidance. Dr. Kapoor is also an accredited trainer for virtual group consultations, working closely with the North Central London Education Training Hub to equip other healthcare professionals with the skills to implement VGCs in their practices.
Her research and clinical interests converge on utilizing group consultations as a sustainable approach to patient-centred care. In 2024, she presented her project, The Use of Video Group Consultations (VGC) in Supporting Patients with Hyperlipidaemia at Greenfield Medical Centre, at the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine Conference in Newcastle, showcasing the positive impact of VGCs on patient engagement and outcomes in managing hyperlipidaemia.
Dr. Kapoor’s work exemplifies her commitment to advancing holistic and personalized healthcare solutions that empower patients and improve health equity in primary care.
